Open ULCA

During Open ULCA, there is a ping pong table, table football, or you can just hang out, listen to music, charge your phone, read, do homework... and the youth workers present are available for conversation, help or company. Open ULCA is not only a place for activities, but also a pleasant environment for connecting with peers and creating new friendships.

WHEN? Every Tuesday 13:00–16:00

DIY

Do it yourself are workshops where you can express your creativity, learn new skills, e.g. sewing on a sewing machine. In the workshops, we use waste materials from which we make new things (handbags, scrotums...) or extend the life of things (we mend old worn-out pants or turn them into something useful).

Sewing, hemming, patching, as well as embroidery, knitting and crocheting. Got an idea? Come and tell!

Breaking classes

At Break classes we learn from locally, nationally and internationally renowned dancers from association GOR. In addition, we participate in break events both at home and abroad. The course is open to everyone from the age of 15, no previous dance knowledge is required. Join us and discover your dancing potential!

Dance open session

Dancers of various styles, such as hip hop, breaking, locking, popping, house, and other individuals who express themselves through movement, gather at the dance open sessions. At our regular meetings we practice, improve our dance steps, share knowledge and have fun together. ULCA is a place where you can improve your dancing skills, meet new friends and express your artistic side!

KDAJ? Vsak četrtek 18.00-20.00 razen v času šolskih počitnic.

Autonomous use

Do you need a place for rehearsals, training, meetings, events? Are you a creator, artist, activist, environmentalist...? Are you part of a team of young people who want to make a difference? Support

Youth workers at ULCA offer support to young people who express an interest in dealing with various situations. Individual support is available by appointment, just ask the youth worker (via ULCA phone, email, IG or FB). Confidential conversations are aimed at resolving dilemmas and situations, support in applying for tenders, establishing societies, institutes (...), organizing workshops, preparing for volunteer activities abroad, structuring learning and editing documentation. If you are interested in anything, ask!

Sketch sessions

Če te zanima ulična umetnost in grafitarska subkultura se pridi podružiti in spoznat še ostale writerje na sceni. Tekom srečanj bomo ustvarili izdelke, ki jih bo mogoče videti na razstavi v začetku decembra.

Delavnice so primerne za vse, tudi čiste začetnike in tiste z nekaj izkušnjami. Pod mentrostvom se bomo učili osnov taganja, throw-upov, strukturo črk in skillov s spreji v obliki graffiti jama na zidu namenjenem grafitiranju.

Prijave niso potrebne, sam ulet.

KDAJ? Ponedeljki 16.30-19.00.

T+ kolektiv

Smo štiri mlade plesalke, Rebeka, Lana, Eva in Rut, ki soustvarjamo sodobnoplesni kolektiv T+. Ukvarjamo se z improvizacijskimi scori, in se skozi lasten gibalni pristop premikamo čez skupne situacije. Trenutno smo v procesu ustvarjanja naše prve predstave, Žabice, ki raziskuje otroške igre na prostem, s katerimi smo odraščale. V ULCI ustvarjamo občasno, ko se znajdemo v Ljubljani. Naša želja je soustvarjati z ljudmi iz različnih področij, za sodelovanje se nam javi na instagram (@tplus.collective) ali mail tpluscollective@gmail.com

Wonton Girls

Smo kolektiv, ki se navdušuje nad t.i. Chorus Girls oz. zborovskimi dekleti iz sveta gledališča in filma. S petjem, plesom, burlesko in drugimi maloodrskimi umetnostmi sestavljamo različne kabarejske ter varietejske točke in predstave. V svoje vsebine vključujemo aktualne družbene teme in spodbujamo relevantne družbene teme.

Od maja 2024 smo nastopale na različnih odrih po Ljubljani – v gledališču Black Box Studio,
baru Prulček, klubu Gromka, Orto Baru, baru Pritličje, gledališču Španski borci in nekajkrat na privat dogodkih v Sloveniji in tujini. Občasno sprejemamo nove člane_ice, kot smo to naredile za točko Wonton Mažoretke, ki jo trenutno pripravljamo za uprizoritev na festivalih Pride in Floating Castle (Plavajoči grad) 2025.
