Open ULCA

During Open ULCA, there is a ping pong table, table football, or you can just hang out, listen to music, charge your phone, read, do homework... and the youth workers present are available for conversation, help or company. Open ULCA is not only a place for activities, but also a pleasant environment for connecting with peers and creating new friendships.

WHEN? Every Tuesday 13:00–16:00

DIY

Do it yourself are workshops where you can express your creativity, learn new skills, e.g. sewing on a sewing machine. In the workshops, we use waste materials from which we make new things (handbags, scrotums...) or extend the life of things (we mend old worn-out pants or turn them into something useful).

Sewing, hemming, patching, as well as embroidery, knitting and crocheting. Got an idea? Come and tell!

Breaking classes

At Break classes we learn from locally, nationally and internationally renowned dancers from association GOR. In addition, we participate in break events both at home and abroad. The course is open to everyone from the age of 15, no previous dance knowledge is required. Join us and discover your dancing potential!

WHEN? From October.

Dance open session

Dancers of various styles, such as hip hop, breaking, locking, popping, house, and other individuals who express themselves through movement, gather at the dance open sessions. At our regular meetings we practice, improve our dance steps, share knowledge and have fun together. ULCA is a place where you can improve your dancing skills, meet new friends and express your artistic side!

WHEN? Every Wednesday 19:00–21:00

Autonomous use

Do you need a place for rehearsals, training, meetings, events? Are you a creator, artist, activist, environmentalist...? Are you part of a team of young people who want to make a difference? Send us a DM on Instagram, call the ULCA phone number +38664 188 214 or write to us at info@ulca.si and arrange for free use of the youth center!

Support

Youth workers at ULCA offer support to young people who express an interest in dealing with various situations. Individual support is available by appointment, just ask the youth worker (via ULCA phone, email, IG or FB). Confidential conversations are aimed at resolving dilemmas and situations, support in applying for tenders, establishing societies, institutes (...), organizing workshops, preparing for volunteer activities abroad, structuring learning and editing documentation. If you are interested in anything, ask!
